These birdhouse gourds were grown on a farm west of Sioux Falls, SD. Average size is one foot tall by sixteen inches around at the widest part of the gourd. Sizes and shapes will vary. Each gourd is painted with two coats of acrylic paint and topped with two coats of Spar Varnish for weather resistance. If you live in a cold climate, store the gourd indoors during the winter for longer life. These birdhouses attract wrens, which are small, sleek brown birds!
